Hour 2 kicks off with a recap of the busy weekend that was for Hawai'i men's volleyball on the east coast as the Rainbow Warriors won four matches in three days to move to 13-1 overall. We shift gears to the high school level, discussing the 2025 Hawaii Pacific Health/HHSAA boys' basketball championships from last Friday that saw Punahou and Seabury Hall emerge with each division's crown.
We close out the show giving kudos to other high school state champions on the wrestling mat before ending the day discussing Hawai'i high school girls' flag football.

Ku vents her frustrations for a bit after the official release of the 2025 football schedule in the Mountain West, a slate that has Hawai'i's visit to the 9th Island against UNLV on the same weekend as the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
We preview Hawai'i women's basketball's Saturday showdown with UC San Diego, hearing HC Laura Beeman's thoughts from earlier in the week when she spoke with the media.

The show closes out with a preview of the Hawai'i men's basketball team's matchup with UC San Diego on the continent on Saturday.

We start off with some football conversation as the 2025 Mountain West football schedule is set to be released at 10 a.m. HT today, so Ku'ulei (and Michael) have some fun with their early projections. We switch over to the diamond and hear from UH Baseball head coach Rich Hill ahead of their upcoming series against Wichita State. Next, we got your HHSAA Boys Basketball update and hear from what University Lab's Trey Ambrozich had to say after their win over Kailua in the quarterfinals Wednesday night. We close out getting excited about hockey and the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off championship happening between the USA and Canada.

Baylei Furman welcomes in HPU Beach Volleyball Assistant Coach Perla Escobar, an HPU alum who dominated the court as a player and is now leading the next generation of athletes. We’ve also got Rosie Larkin, a transfer from Salt Lake City CC, and Dana Nguyen, who has a pretty unique story about how she found her way onto this team.

In the second game of a PacWest doubleheader, the Hawaii Pacific Sharks got revenge on the Chaminade Silverswords with a stressful 8-6 win.
HPU pitcher Maggie O'Dowd (1-5) was awarded her first win of the season after throwing 4.2 innings of 2-run ball. Bailey Benson (0-4) was charged with the loss for Chaminade, throwing 4.2 innings while allowing four runs (all earned).
HPU freshman Makayla Pagampao delivered the go-ahead 2-run blast for the Sharks in the bottom of the 5th inning, giving the Sharks the lead for good before they added four more much-needed insurance runs. Chaminade made one final push in the top of the 7th inning, but left the bases loaded to end the game.

In the first game of a PacWest doubleheader, the Chaminade Silverswords softball team held off a furious rally from the Hawaii Pacific Sharks to win in extra innings and snap a 13-game losing streak.
HPU pitcher Taylor Thompson (3-4) took the loss despite pitching 7+ innings and only allowing 2 earned runs. Ava Walker (1-4) earned the win for Chaminade, throwing 5.0 innings and striking out three batters for her first victory of the season.
Swords 3B Miranda Diaz went 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in two runs for CUH while Desiree Bravo brought in the game-winning run with an RBI groundout in the top of the 8th inning. HPU SS Taryn Hirano went 4-for-5 at the plate, scoring a run and driving in another in the loss for the Sharks.
