Moanalua rallied past Aiea, 10-6, in the first round of the OIA Division I playoffs, advancing to face West No. 1 seed Mililani.
Aiea jumped out to an early lead, scoring three in the first, but Moanalua answered late. A five-run fifth inning proved decisive as Na Menehune took control and never looked back.
Kyler Fernandez led the way with a home run and two RBIs, while AJ Withy Allen added three hits and scored three runs. Kallen Kameoka earned the complete-game win on the mound.
Aiea was led by Kaimana Paiva’s three-hit performance in the loss.
