We have a slight change up from sports this week as Ku'u and Paul chat with Chef Meghan Ellis, the first Hawai'i born and raised chef to compete on Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen. Ellis will be a competitor on season 23, which premieres Thursday, September 26 at 7 p.m. HT on Fox.

Maiya Beltran led the offense for Waipahu with 10 kills and a service ace in the Marauders' 3-1 win over Aiea (25-16, 25-20, 13-25, 25-13). Libero Aleamaikalani Paiva had 14 digs, 6 aces, and 7 assists to earn the recognition as our Timmy T's "Grinder of the Game".

Ku and Paul open the show continuing the conversation around the Pac-12 and Mountain West re-alignment battle playing out in the public before switching to the hardwood after Hawai'i men's and women's basketball announced a weekend in Hilo during October with games and a keiki clinic for Big Island residents. 

The basketball conversation continues into Hour 2 as Paul gives an update on the latest commitment for Hawai'i MBB before dropping crumbs around offers going out from the program. We hear from Hawai'i soccer head coach Bud Nagamine and forward Fabiola Zamora following the Rainbow Wahine 4-1 win over local rival HPU before closing out the show with a look at the weekend in high school sports.

Ku, Paul and Michael back after the weekend to breakdown Hawai'i's massive win over Northern Iowa to get the program back to .500 before the conference slate begins. We hear head coach Timmy Chang's immediate postgame thoughts before closing the opening hour with a recap of Rainbow Wahine results from the weekend.
