Happy Mana Wahine Wednesday, beautiful people! Ku and Paul open the day discussing Tuesday's Hawai'i women's volleyball loss to UNLV in Las Vegas. We also hear from freshman defensive specialist Victoria Leyva as our featured Mana Wahine athlete of the week.

Hour 2 begins with a preview of the Hawai'i football matchup on Saturday against UNI, hearing a portion of head coach Timmy Chang's media availability from Tuesday. Ku and Paul also discuss the top WNBA storylines heading into the playoffs that start Sunday before a fun conversation about the latest Hawai'i alternate uniforms.

The Mililani girls volleyball team showed off its offensive firepower with a four-set win over visiting Nanakuli in a 22-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-19 OIA West victory. With the balanced attack, freshman setter Keala Stephens took home HSRN’s “Grinder of the Game” award, which is presented by Timmy T’s Sandwich Shop. Stephens finished with 47 assists, 13 digs, four aces and had a hand in one block in the win.

Former Hawai'i FB OL Aaron Kia joins the show for the 2nd hour to give his thoughts on the team following the 31-13 loss to Sam Houston State. Ku and Paul end the show with a long rant on receipts, records and how Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele is the rightful king of the Hawai'i HS passing yards.

We discuss what went wrong for the Rainbow Warriors in Texas before switching to the volleyball court to talk about the OUTRIGGER Invitational champion Rainbow Wahine.
