The Mililani girls volleyball team showed off its offensive firepower with a four-set win over visiting Nanakuli in a 22-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-19 OIA West victory. With the balanced attack, freshman setter Keala Stephens took home HSRN’s “Grinder of the Game” award, which is presented by Timmy T’s Sandwich Shop. Stephens finished with 47 assists, 13 digs, four aces and had a hand in one block in the win.

Campbell Sabers senior quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele broke the all-time Hawai’i high school career passing yards record in a 50-7 win over Farrington. Sagapolutele eclipsed current Oregon starting quarterback and 2018 graduate of Mililani Dillon Gabriel’s record 9,848 yards with a 68-yard touchdown pass to Tyson Ball with 3:18 left in the 1st quarter.
